Each L99 camshaft Texas Speed offers will require the use of a phaser limiter kit. The phaser limiter restricts the range of cam timing movement from 50° to 20°. This modification provides the necessary valve clearance for serious performance camshafts with tighter lobe separations – while still utilizing the benefits of the VVT technology.
- DOD/AFM equipped engines will require a DOD delete kit.
Our kit options take the guesswork out and include:
- Camshaft Only: TSP L99 VVT-4 Camshaft By Itself.
- Camshaft, Springs With Titanium Retainers, Pushrods: TSP L99 VVT-4 Cam, .660" dual spring kit with titanium retainers and valve seals, 7.400" Chromoly 5/16" Pushrods.
- Camshaft, Springs With Titanium Retainers, Pushrods And Phaser Limiter Kit: Includes the above, plus a 20* phaser limiter and installation tool (Phaser limiter is required for camshaft installation).
- Cam Installation Gasket Kit: Includes timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, damper seal, and crankshaft bolt.
