The Michigan Motorsports Gen IV DOD/AFM Delete Kit is designed for 5.3L LS engines and includes everything needed to properly remove the Displacement on Demand/Active Fuel Management system. Featuring high-quality OEM and aftermarket components, this kit ensures a complete conversion while maintaining durability and sealing performance. Perfect for restoring reliability or upgrading to a performance camshaft during the delete process.

- Delphi LS7 Lifters: Set of 16 – P/N 25341990
- Valley Cover: ICT Billet DOD Delete Valley Cover with Oil Sensor Adapter – ICT #551605 & #551623, includes seal and bolts
- Lifter Trays: GM Lifter Guide Trays – P/N 12595365 (set of 4)
- Head Gaskets: Pair of 5.3L/5.7L MLS head gaskets – replaces GM #12589226
- Head Bolts: 2004+ LS Head Bolt Kit
- Header Gaskets: Pair of LS Multi-Layer Steel exhaust manifold/header gaskets – replaces GM #12617944
Installation Notes
- When performing a DOD/AFM delete, the original camshaft should be replaced with a non-DOD cam to prevent potential misfires.
- For 5.3L applications without VVT, GM camshaft #12689035 is recommended.
- Michigan Motorsports also offers performance camshafts from Brian Tooley Racing and Texas Speed for added power during your DOD delete.
- The DOD/AFM system must be turned off in the vehicle’s ECU after installation.
