With great power gains and OEM driving characteristics, this camshaft pairs wonderfully with stock converters. The V2 Stage 1 makes MORE POWER and MORE AVERAGE TORQUE than the stock cam making it a perfect candidate for those looking to drive like stock, but pick up a lot of Torque and HP in the process. This cam will have a very slight lope with aftermarket exhaust, but with a stock exhaust it will sound close to stock.
The Stage 1 grind is a popular choice for those looking to delete DOD/AFM, or just add some pep to your truck's step.
- VVT engines will require a VVT delete kit.
- If installing in an engine originally equipped with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3 bolt conversion kit will be required.
- Due to their heavier valve weight, a dual valve spring kit or BTR SK018 Beehive springs are recommended for 6.2L engines and 2007-later rectangle port 6.0L engines.
